Every region has a food that it is known for. New York has Cheesecake, Chicago has Deep Dish Pizza, you cannot go to Philly without eating a Cheese Steak and you will stand in line all day long for a bite of Oregon’s Voodoo Doughnuts. On the Emerald Coast of Florida, we are known for the freshest seafood you can get. Here are a few of our favorite food spots and what to order!

These delicious oysters on the half shell are grilled with all your favorite ingredients. Rockefeller, cheese & bacon, shrimp & crab, the list goes on. Camille’s at Crystal Beach’s Sushi:

Always fresh and delicious, Camille’s sushi is a work of art. Enjoy tuna, salmon, shrimp, and yellowtail rolled into rice and seaweed topped with crab or Jalapeno slices. It’s your chance to master chop sticks as you dip these little circles filled with flavor into soy sauce and wasabi. Who’s our favorite sushi chefs? You can find them at Camille’s. Pompano Joe’s Fish Tacos:

Fried or grilled grouper wrapped in a soft flour tortilla with lettuce, Pico de Gallo, queso fresco and chipotle mayonnaise. Where on the Emerald Coast can you find the best fish tacos? Our favorite is Pompano Joe’s. This restaurant in Miramar
Beach
sits directly on the sand so you can enjoy a view of the Gulf of
Mexico while chowing down on fresh tacos from the sea.

Boshamps Seafood & Oyster House’s Smoked Tuna Dip:

Chunks of tuna smoked to perfection made into a creamy dip
is the perfect appetizer. Our favorite fish dip can be found at Boshamps
Seafood & Oyster House. The house smoked yellowfin tuna dip is served with
house-cured pickled vegetables and a beautiful view of the Destin Harbor.

The Crab Trap’s Crab Legs:

Snow Crab Legs, Dungeness Crab and King Crab Legs can all be
found on the menu at our favorite crab restaurant, The Crab Trap! Found on the
beaches of Perdido Key, Florida you’ll love the view and the delicious flavor of fresh crab dipped in warm melted butter. It is definitely worth the work so get to cracking!
